The Erotic Bookworm website is accepting submissions for articles: on the craft of writing, experiences on writing or submitting, and the road to getting published.

Historical articles based on true historical facts dealing with or about sexual activity, customs, etc.

Erotic Fiction on any subject and/or genre (GLBT, contemporary, paranormal, horror, sci fi etc.). No bestiality, or children.

Sex Exploration (true life stories of memorable and unique sexual events)

We don’t have a set requirement for lengths.

At this time payment for articles, fiction, and sex exploration stories is $10.00 upon acceptance payable through paypal. A link with your name to you website or email . We ask for 1 year non-exclusive rights to use any accepted work on our site (written and in podcast) and any future eZine, magazine, or anthology that may develop. If we decide to do a print anthology that includes author's story they will also receive 4 copies in print. We hope to increase payment later on but as we are just starting out we can not pay too much.

We plan to open in December. If interested please submit now.

 

IF your submission is very long it can be broken into segments and published seperately.

We will pay for each segment as if you had submitted individual stories.

 

F.A.Q

Do you accept work published on other websites?

Yes, we accept stories published on ther websites as long as the rights have reverted back to you or you signed a non-exclusive rights contract allowing you to submit elsewhere.

We don't count stories published on peer review or critique sites like desdemona's fish tank, yahoogroups (where posted for peer review), or sites like literotica to be published as in most cases the author retains the rights. If unsure about your situation contact the site and ask. p.s  when submitting please let us know if your story or article has been published elsewhere and the status of your rights.

 

How long will it take for you to decide if you are accepting my story and when will I get an email with the decision?

As of this moment 1 week.

 

Do submissions have to be in a particular format?

No. We can reformat in needed.

 

Do you accept submissions as attachments?

Yes, we do.

When do we get paid and how?

On acceptance via paypal but you must sign a contract verifying that you understand the terms of acceptance. We must have the email to pay you through paypal. (tell us if different than the one you use to contact us).

 

 

Can you keep my real name private?

Yes, but when you submit please let us know if you are using a pen name and your real name. (We will need your real name for the contracts.
